Hi, I’m Tammy Hawkins

Tech systems expert, AI educator, community volunteer, plant lover, and lifelong organizer of… pretty much everything.

For the past fourteen years, I’ve helped small business owners bring clarity to their systems, confidence to their tech, and calm to the parts of business that often feel messy or overwhelming. My work blends real-world experience, hands-on technical skill, and a warm, supportive teaching style that meets women exactly where they are.

If you’re someone who wants less chaos and more ease in your workday, you’re my kind of person.

My Philosophy: Make Tech Feel Human

I’ve always believed that technology should make life easier, not more stressful.

I don’t teach in jargon.
I don’t overwhelm people with complicated explanations.
I don’t push software you don’t need.

Instead, I focus on:

  • clear, friendly guidance
  • simple language
  • tools that work together
  • workflows that match how you think

My goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and supported—not confused or talked down to.
You bring your expertise.
I bring the systems and clarity that help you shine.

How This All Started

I’ve always loved organizing and problem-solving. I was the kid who:

  • color-coded my school binders
  • sorted my room for fun
  • made checklists before vacations
  • created little “systems” no one asked for

As an adult, that instinct expanded into helping classmates with tech issues, supporting coworkers with setup and troubleshooting, and eventually building a business around helping others feel in control of their work.

When I realized that women business owners were often carrying the entire mental load of their companies—operations, marketing, client management, admin, and now AI—I knew I had to build something to support them in a real, human way.

That’s how Hawkins Tech Consulting came to life.

Professional Highlights I’m Proud Of

I don’t lead with these, but they matter:

  • More than 250 businesses supported
  • Over 5,000 projects completed
  • Featured in David Allen’s Getting Things Done newsletter
  • Guest on The Marketing Podcast for Financial Advisors
  • Interviewed by ABC News for my “Suddenly Remote” productivity guide
  • MIT Certified in AI for Business Strategy
  • AI & tech educator for women entrepreneurs in the global Hera Hub network

My work has always been about giving busy women the tools, structure, and support they need to run their business with confidence.

What I Help Women Business Owners Do

I support clients with:

  • tech and systems cleanup
  • workflow organization
  • ClickUp and HighLevel setup
  • onboarding and offboarding systems
  • simple automations
  • AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude
  • prompt creation and content support
  • operations structure for growing teams

Whether we’re working for ninety minutes or several months, I’m here to make your business feel lighter, calmer, and easier to run.

Teaching and Community Are a Big Part of My Life

I love sharing what I know.

I regularly teach AI and tech classes for women entrepreneurs through the global Hera Hub network, helping women build confidence with tools that can save hours a week.

I also have deep roots in service and community involvement here in North County San Diego. I recently wrapped up my time as PTA President, and I continue to volunteer in ways that support local families, schools, and small business owners.

Being helpful is just part of my wiring.

Life Outside of Work

When I’m not mapping workflows or teaching AI, you can usually find me:

  • caring for two cats and the foster kittens we take in from time to time
  • tending to the many thriving plants in our yard
  • cheering on my kids in their school and sports activities
  • reading with a warm drink
  • hunting for the perfect planner, notebook, or pen
  • dreaming about the next home project or travel adventure

I live in sunny North County San Diego with my husband, our two children, two cats, occasional foster kittens, and more plants than I care to admit.

Why Women Love Working With Me

My clients say they appreciate that I:

  • explain things in a way they actually understand
  • bring structure without judgment
  • fix problems they’ve been carrying for years
  • teach them how to use tech in ways that feel empowering
  • reduce stress and mental load
  • help them move forward instead of staying stuck
  • make overwhelming projects feel doable
  • support their goals, not just their tasks

My work is a blend of tech, coaching, operations, teaching, and support—and that combination tends to make women feel capable and relieved.

If You’re Ready to Feel More Organized and Less Overwhelmed

I’d love to help.

You don’t have to wrestle with tech alone or spend another year doing things the hard way.
Let’s look at your systems, clarify your next steps, and get your business running more smoothly.
